Today is Sunday 2nd of August. It's just another day in the world of motelling (hey, in our world every day is a Monday!) but it is also our birthday. Yep, today The "Motella" Blog is one year old!This social media experiment began this time last year and celebrates the noble art of running a motel in our own politically incorrect way. We have amassed 460 posts, 24,887 people have visited and we now average over 100 unique visitors per day.
Why do we do it?
For all sorts of reasons. Because we can, because no one else is doing it, ego, the passion we have for our industry, FUN and a bit of self-therapy...
"Motella" will continue to be an independent lone voice making pithy observations on news, views and politics of New Zealand's Motel Industry.
And...we will take the p*ss and have some FUN along the way...
